The decorative Interlaken pattern (cast iron) is slightly smaller (23.5″ sq.) and does not fit the NDS2400 catch basins properly.
This Interlaken grate is 1″ thick and is Load Class B.
The majority of Iron Age grates have not been rated for specific loads, but they have been designed at a minimum to withstand single-axle vehicles/residential traffic (Load Class B), regardless of material used. If your trench and catch basin grates need to be installed in an area with commercial traffic (Load Class C, D or E), we suggest casting in ductile iron, which has more flexibility and a higher strength-to-weight ratio.
